Kalvi Kattanam Foundation provides education and food support to underprivileged families across Tamil Nadu. Our education and food support covers school and college fees, the learning materials students need day to day, and freshly cooked meals for elderly people who cannot provide for themselves.
Education support covers school and college fees for orphan and semi-orphan children, children of daily-wage workers, and first-generation graduates. Educational utilities covers the books, bags, uniforms and stationery that fees alone do not pay for. Strike The Hunger delivers freshly cooked meals to elderly people who cannot cook or provide for themselves, at roughly ₹40 a meal.
Our future services extend this work into regular daily meals and ambulance transport for medical emergencies. Each programme is funded by donors and well-wishers, and the story of how the foundation began explains why these are the areas we chose.
